The song was also co-written by her the song along with Raven Symone and Orlando Brown. The singer also composed Over It for the soundtrack of the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs. Van der Pol recorded R&B/pop renditions of The Lion King's Circle of Life, and Cinderella's Dream Is a Wish You Make to accompany the release of a special edition of both films, which also featured The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. The year 2006 saw her covered the Disney song Candle on the Water (from Pete's Dragon) to be used in the edition Disneymania. In her role on Broadway, as Belle van der Pol recorded several songs heard in the theatrical production's soundtrack such as the famous A Change in Me.
